Context
This is an Inria/ANSSI collaborative project. The candidate will integrate the SUSHI research team from the IRISA laboratory, Inria Centre at Rennes University, working in collaboration with experts from ANSSI’s Device Security Laboratory (LSC) and Detection Research and Exploration Laboratory (LED).
Assignment
This postdoctoral work aims to contribute to building a physical security evaluation methodology and framework for embedded AI implementations on edge AI accelerators, integrating SCA and FI.
Main activities
The expected steps of the work include:
- Definition, design, and implementation of an embedded AI service. The objective is to build a measurable Proof-of-Concept (PoC) enabling early physical security measurements.
- Definition of the evaluation target and of the test plan. This step requires insights into security product evaluation procedures and discussions with certification experts.
- Physical security evaluation of the AI service. This step will apply hardware evaluation
methods as defined in the previous step.
Skills
- Le candidat idéal est titulaire d'un doctorat en ingénierie informatique, en ingénierie électrique, en informatique, en microélectronique ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Le candidat peut faire preuve d'indépendance en matière de recherche, d'un solide background mathématique et expérimental, et idéalement d'une bonne connaissance des méthodologies d'évaluation de la sécurité.
- Idéalement, le candidat a une expérience préalable dans un laboratoire d'évaluation de produits de sécurité (un CESTI en France).

Remuneration
Monthly gross salary from 2 788 euros.
